Wilbur May was born in Berlin and educated in Germany. He has been on the spiritual path and a vegetarian for 35 years. In 1969 he emigrated to Australia where he lived and worked first as a high school teacher, then as the Director of Massage at the Tara Healing Center and at the Sivananda Ashram, a Yoga Center. In these years Wilbur traveled extensively and got acquainted with Eastern philosophies, meditation practices and the healing arts. He applied his knowledge in teaching yoga, meditation and massage as well as establishing a healing practice in the Yoga Center and conducting juice fast weekends. In 1991 Wilbur left Australia to join the staff of the prestigious Hippocrates Health Institute, West Palm Beach, Florida, where is was an instructor and in charge of guest relations and counseling. Besides Ohashiatsu, Wilbur has also studied OSHO Rebalancing, Reflexology and Polarity. He is a licensed massage therapist in Florida. To his practice Wilbur brings his many years of experience in nutrition, meditation and yogic studies.
