The Ohashi Institute and the Ohashiatsu program
The Institute's program meets a variety of goals. Some students attend courses to learn techniques for self-healthcare, some because of an interest in Eastern culture, and some want to explore a new career or add techniques and knowledge to their current practice. The focus of courses is on experiential learning: taking the information into the body and experiencing the techniques and concepts in yourself and others.
The relaxed learning environment is one of non-judgement, allowing students to find a safe place to express their experiences. Studying Ohashiatsu gives you a deeper psychological understanding of yourself and others, which leads to a happier personal life and more compassion toward others.
Each course offers theory, exercises, meditation and hands-on training. The basic curriculum courses are 30 hours each and are offered as ten-week courses and as intensives. In addition, students study Ohashi's Oriental Diagnosis and Western anatomy in a context that relates to meridian theory. Courses may be taken independently or as part of a complete study program that takes about two years to complete. All instructors follow the same curriculum, making it possible for students to follow the program at many locations around the world.
After receiving a Certificate of Completion, students may apply to post-graduate training programs to become a Certified Instructor or Consultant. Both programs offer a way for graduates to continue their education and inner development and to continue their affiliation with the Ohashi Institute and the Ohashiatsu network.
Note:
The certification program totals 347 hours; post-graduate training totals 256 hours. |
